Embracing Change: Memories in Our New Home

This summer was spent enjoying our new home. It’s been a wet rainy summer and we loved it! I snapped a few shots and captured some fun moments in the house that I never want to forget. I have these moments of sadness throughout the day where I think about my mom and how she will never get to see our new home or see how Baby Si has grown. I have so many moments of nostalgia watching my kids explore our home and the yard and our neighborhood. I think about my childhood home; a condo, in a small beach town. My mom decorated the entire condo coastal theme. She made it a home and now I’m working on doing the same. Our entire upstairs is coastal theme in honor of my mom and her favorite place, the beach. She was from Florida. She wanted her ashes spread at the beach. We plan to do it this month. I’m crying typing this because I know its the end of a season. I’ll never forget my mom, but I have to move forward. This is a representation of a new season, a season of moving forward into new things, new adventures, a new way of life and I’m grateful for this blessing. Even in my sadness and grief, my heart is content, heavy but content.

All sadness aside, I thought I’d share a few snaps of us just enjoying our new space. I hope you enjoy.

Till next time.

Sincerely,

Deidra Marie

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY CHARLEE

Literally can’t believe that in less than a week I’ll have a whole 3 year old. In typical Charlee fashion she wanted to take a few pics in her new favorite dress and sneakers. Every year we do birthday pics and this year was the first time she had requests and knew what she wanted to do. We beat the rain and missed the harsh sun and was able to get a handful of awesome birthday pics for my sweet girl.

Charlee is such a beam of light and is clearly the life of the party. When she’s not obsessing over the color pink and unicorns, she’s embracing every new experience as it comes at her; asking a million questions, being an awesome leader to her peers and the best big helper at home with her baby brother. She’s so bright, so vivacious and so very curious about the world around her and she’s a caring, kind and nurturing soul. God couldn’t have blessed me with a better broke best friend, LOL.

In a strange turn of events, my sweet Char’s Char battling a nasty cold, so we sadly had to reschedule her bday bash and instead celebrated with cupcakes and trampoline jumps in the backyard this past weekend. Not the best way to bring in 3 years old but, one thing about Charlee, she rolls with the punches and knows how to make lemonade out of lemons. Here’s cramming 2 cliche sentences into this post. I’m a roll today, LOL.

Anywho… below are a few pics from her birthday shoot a few weeks back. In natural Charlee fashion, she requested a princess dress and sneaks for her shoot. A little sassy and a little athletic, just like her momma.

Till next time good people.

Sincerely,

Deidra Marie

MEET BABY SI

Hi All,

I’ve been in the newborn bubble and am just now getting a chance to introduce you to the newest addition to the Craig family. Meet Silas Charles Craig IV aka. Baby Si. Born May 17, 2023, weighing in at 9lbs 15 oz. So far, Si likes to eat sleep and stare at the ceiling. He already knows how to roll and has some great lungs and a strong healthy cry. It’s been amazing getting to know him and watching him grow. Our family is truly complete. Charlee is taking it pretty well. She’s super protective of her brother and is the ultimate big helper. We plan on taking some family pics this weekend as a full family of 4. Whenever I get some free time, I’ll share them with you all.

Below are a few 1 month old pics of our little guy. I hope you enjoy.

Till next time.

Sincerely,

Deidra Marie
