As a woman of color, it’s not uncommon to have uneven skin tone and discoloration. It has been a constant battle for me but I’m excited to have collaborated with Aveeno and talk about how I’ve incorporated the Positively Radiant skincare line into my daily skincare routine. With my eczema and ultra sensitive skin, I require gentle body washes that don’t leave my skin dry but still exfoliate, cleanse and remove dead skin. Additionally, eczema breakouts have caused dark spots and discoloration, so it is so important to find a regimen that keeps my skin tone even and helps me with daily moisturizing. As I’m sure many of you know, finding the right skin care products that can keep sensitive skin moisturized throughout the day can be tough.

Lately, I’ve been switching things up and have added the Aveeno Positively Radiant skin care line to my skin routine to tackle my dry skin and discoloration issues. It’s been a journey trying to find a full skin care line that can exfoliate, moisturize and correct uneven skin tone but the Aveeno Positevly Radiant Exfoliating Body Wash, body lotion, and Targeted Cream Dark Spot Corrector, have been making my skin care regimen a whole lot easier these days and the results have been amazing. I’ve experienced some amazing skin days lately. FYI: the dark spot corrector has SPF 15 so it couples as a skin tone corrector and sun protectant; it’s double for my trouble :). Did I mention my skin is super soft to the touch and I’m already noticing a difference in the look and feel of my skin. I’m sure in no time my skin will be pageant ready. I haven’t been using this line very long, but I have been seeing and feeling amazing results, even after the first use. With colder days coming our way, it will be so important to keep my skin moisturized and protected from the cold, dry weather. Working these three products into my skin care routine will definitely help me combat the cold winter days ahead of us.

I’m excited to share how I’ve completely flipped the script on my skincare routine. Now I’m ready to take the town by storm with fresh, dewy skin that’s hydrated and protected. The only thing that could possibly make everything feel complete is a fly outfit. I’ve been shopping ASOS lately and came across this fire hot red jumpsuit which was apart of their AMAZING summer sale. They unfortunately, only had this jumpsuit available in tall, so I rolled up the legs a little and rocked it out. If you have a long torso like me, then you should be fine with a tall. Sadly, I don’t have long legs to match this long torso, so I’ll have to get these pant legs hemmed at some point but I just had to wear this for my shoot, I couldn’t help myself.

Neutrogena and I are back at it again but this time I’ve partnered with them to bring you the new Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion Sunscreen. #gotitfree. There’s no doubt in my mind I’ll be kicking it in the sun all summer. Me and my good friend Tay need extra protection to keep our skin glowing and youthful because this pretty lady is getting married next year so it’s even more important to make sure her skin is picture perfect for the big day. Tay is wearing the SPF 50 for extra extra protection and I lathered on the SPF 30 to my arms legs and face.

In case you’re wondering, this works well under make-up, goes on smooth and doesn’t leave that annoying white film that’s so hard to rub in. It’s also ultra moisturizing but doesn’t give you that clogged pore feeling. Me and Tay tried out the new product for our friend date at the park and just lounged around on the grass soaking up the rays.
