Hi blogger friends.

My sincerest apologies for being gone for such a long time. I’ve really been focusing on IG content and to be honest, lately, I’ve been taking long breaks from that platform as well. In case you’re wondering what’s been happening these past several months, I’m assuming the pic above gives you an idea. Yep, that’s right my friends, we are expecting baby #2 May 2023. Can you believe it! I’m still on cloud 9 if I’m being honest. After having Charlee, I definitely thought I had made up my mind about being a one and done family. Once I got the hang of motherhood and got some therapy and some overall balance in my work and home life, my mind has changed. Can you believe it! Yeah, neither can I, LOL.

So things are different this time around. As you all know, Charlee’s gender was a surprise. Charles and I made the decision to wait until delivery day to find out and it was fun. This time around, we want to know. While I still don’t care what the gender is, I’m willing to go along for the ride with my husband and find out. We will get an answer in about 3 or so weeks so stay tuned.

For those wondering, pregnancy still sucks this time around. I’ve never really enjoyed being pregnant and this second pregnancy is bit more taxing than my first. I’m older, more exhausted because I have a 2 year old and in comparing pregnancies, I had Charlee during the start of pandemic, so I was quarantined for most of my pregnancy and stayed home with her until she was 15 months old. This time around, I’m back at work and extremely nauseous most days. To be frank, it’s just down right uncomfortable. I have about two more weeks in the first trimester, so I’m hoping the nausea dies down by then so I can start feeling a bit more like myself. Trust me, I want to be the lady that enjoys pregnancy and all the body changes, but I unfortunately am not the one. I’m grateful to be growing this tiny human, but can we skip to the good part, LOL.
