DAYTONA BEACH

Daytona Beach to top off a weekend full of fun, food, and lots of Charlie. After the amazing wedding held in Atlanta, Charlie and I made our way further south for some much needed relaxation and beach time. We just played in the water, drew in the sand and had some good seafood from Joe’s Crab shack. One day was clearly not enough for the beach but we have plans to come back and stay for a while. I love this beach because it’s just real chill, quiet, clean, family oriented and the price of our hotel was fairly cheap so we’ll be back but in the meantime, we have 4 more days before we set sail to visit 7 Caribbean islands. I’m super excited for this. A vacation is needed! This time I will disconnect from email for awhile and try not to do any work. This will be hard, and I’m probably lying right now but in my mind I believe I have the will power to stay away from the computer and possible just enjoy being disconnected. We’ll see. Anyway, I’ve linked a similar romper at the top for your shopping pleasure. I’ll be featuring some more rompers on the blog from the same place soon so stay tuned.

Hope your week is off to a great start.

Sincerely,

Deidra Marie

A COKE AND A SMILE

When in ATL, drink a coke with a smile. Charlie and I headed out to Georgia for a wedding this past weekend. We packed to many clothes and ate an assortment of your generic American food and some good African cuisine this weekend. While in Atlanta it was hard to resist a trip to the Coca Cola Factory, the birth place of the famous drink might I add. So, I’ve been to the factory before once when I was in 8th grade, but they’ve renovated since then and when I say the renovations are amazing, they are literally AMAZING. Sad to say I don’t drink much soda but one trip to this museum and I was sold. I kept bugging Charles about finding the soda tasting station I saw once on my 8th grade field trip. I was sad because we were already 1 hour in and hadn’t seen the tasting station yet. It was of course the very last thing we came across, but so worth the wait. FYI, if you’ve been here before you know the Italy Coca Cola is very much an acquired taste 🙂 I think I tried about 6 different ginger ale’s, one of my all time fav pops. This gal was happy. One thing is for sure, there is always something to do in Atlanta, and therefore impossible to be bored in this lovely city. Atlanta my love, I’ll be back, hopefully soon and hopefully I’ll  be able to stay long enough to take in more downtown attractions, minus the parking fees. Stay tuned for my Daytona Beach adventures! By the way, I’ve linked the denim jeans and the top I was wearing at the top of the post for you to shop. Of course, as always, all items linked are on sale baby! Have a good week!

Sincerely,

LAST STOP, RODEO DRIVE

It’s no doubt this trip to LA was short, but we jammed packed as many activities as we could while there. One being the obligatory visit to the famous Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, and of course Rodeo Drive. It was nice seeing my big bro. I think we’ll be back again because as far as taking in the attractions, we barely scratched the surface.

By the way, people drive Beamers, Benz, Bentley’s, Ashton Martin’s and Bugatti’s like it’s nothing out here. Meanwhile, back in NC, I’m just trying to make it to Friday with my 10 dollars of gas in my 2013 Prius, LOL.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, this completes my tour of Hollywood. Till next time LA.

Sincerely,

Deidra Marie
