When I tell you this weekend was completely BONKERS, it was completely BONKERS! The hubs and I ran the Color Vibe 5K at 8AM on Saturday. I unfortunately, only have a handful of pics from the whole ordeal so check my IG stories for the latest on that. Otherwise, click here for all the colorful pics from when I ran this same run back in 2016.
Any who, immediately following the run, I jetted across town to the other side to join my pageant sisters for our first official dance practice. As if running a little over 3 miles wasn’t enough, I had to tack on learning a dance routine and walk in sky-high heels, LOL…Oh but wait, there’s more, because I’m crazy and can’t possibly imagine a weekend that’s not jammed packed with way too many activities, LOL, Nelle and I met at my house and floored it to downtown for the Shello Nail Polish launch party. After witnessing a wrestling match and taking too long trying to find parking, this ladies and gentlemen, leads me to my next activity, which was meeting the creator behind this amazing vegan nail polish brand, Ralphlyne Vieux-Harrington. For deets on the brand, check my Shello Polish post from a few weeks back.
Big shout out to Ralphlyne for planning this amazing launch party. The crab cakes were THE BEST. Most importantly, I was able to chat with this beautiful soul and hear more about her mission and vision for the company and I’m excited for what’s to come. Speaking of what’s to come, if you’re checking IG, you already know we had a Shello Polish giveaway winner. Keep scrolling for the deets on that…
At random drawing, by the hubs, I’d liked to extend a big congratulations to Valerie for winning our Shello Polish giveaway. I hope you enjoy your polishes and don’t forget to #colorwithconfidence. Stay tuned for another giveaway, I have some amazing goodies for all my readers and I can’t wait to get this party started. By the way, I almost forgot to mention the cutie wearing the gray jumpsuit and adorable glasses is Angelica from The Strong Suit blog. It was so great meeting her and getting a chance to chit chat about our crazy weekend antics. When you get sometime, go check out her blog, there are some pretty great reads up there that I’m sure you’ll love.
I hope everyone has an AMAZING week! And to my NC peeps and everyone on the east coast, I pray everyone’s safety for the hurricane that is predicted to hit our area this Thursday. Be safe and don’t forget to stock up on water and non-perishable items.
Till next time.
Sincerely,
Deidra Marie
